General Session and Self-advocates

8:30 am – 9:30 am Check-in

A few more details:

No food or beverages are permitted in the lecture hall where the Keynote Session and the Educators Series will be held.

Please wear casual, comfortable attire and dress to accommodate a range of temperature settings.

Hurricane Relief supplies will be collected and delivered to the Down syndrome communities down east who have been impacted by the back to back hurricanes. Suggestions include cleaning supplies, non-perishable food, and toiletries.

Lunch will be provided by City BBQ. Alternate meals are available to attendees who registered and requested a gluten-free or vegetarian option.

Wake Tech has an open Wifi system.

A Little Something Special:

Attendees participating in the session: “The Future is Bright…when you plan for it” are invited to bring a device to access the internet to begin their free online vision plan.
